Yesterday most of us went to Cafeteria y Restaurante El Amanecer to work on our group exams. We had some nice cake and cinnamon buns, lunch, iced coffee and drinks, worked and listened ti music. We dont have many lectures left this semester, so there will be loads of time to go to cafes to romanticise the grind✌🏼☕️📚

Studyweek: a whole week without lectures! 🎉🕺 Many use this time as an opportunity to travel and explore more of Argentina or nearby countries. Here are some photos from some of our students who decided to travel to Brazil! 🇧🇷

my favorite beauty salon in hoi an! 💅🏻🧖‍♀️🫧 @aurelianailspahoian only a 4 minutes walk from balance, the sweetest ladies & cheaper prices than in the old town! you can get a massage for around 100kr here are some of the treatments I’ve got done - vietnamese massage (also comes w footbath) - body scrub - head spa - manicure & pedicure they also do lashes and many other treatments! recommended to check them out!

Wowie! Our first time at the San Isidro Farmers market, and we REALLY enjoyed it! Such a big market, with a lottt to offer🍉🍋🧁📚💍 Today, we usually spotted only natural-ingredient products and home made. If not, it was second hand or fresh from the farms, here is what we spotted and bought: fruit, jewlery, cinnamon buns (best we have ever tasted), soaps, second hand clothes, perfume, insence, oils🍯 We visited Wade, from Finca farm, where we bought vinegar and dried fruits (check earlier post for more information about him) In going to the farmers market, you get to see new products and ways of making them, cheaper prices than supermarket, have fun, socialise, and support the locals🙏🏼💙 We are pleased😜✌🏼

Field trip in Longo Mai!💚 We stayed with host-families, where we usually had our meals. Got to taste Nicaraguan, Costa Rican and Salvadorian meals, and learned about some of their history. We visited other local farms, practices, and the indigenous community of Térraba. Talking to the locals about different types of production, ways of living, the nature and how they experience and work through the environmental and social impacts and issues. We spent our free time going on walks, bathing in the river, playing cards and 8ball and got to know the locals🩵 We are truly grateful for our stay. Learned so much and enjoyed it all. érraba
