In Costa Rica especially in San Isidro we use Uber or Didi almost everywhere we go! To school, to the store, to zumba classes and to the city. It’s very affordable especially in groups. We take the bus for longer trips to Uvita or Dominical (the beach) but the Ubers here are safe and a great opportunity to practice Spanish!

In Avenida de Mayo you can find Café Tortoni. It is the oldest and most iconic café in Buenos Aires, Argentina, founded in 1858 and is famous for churros con chocolate ☕️🍫

On Saturday, we had “Vietnam Day” and the welcome party! 🎊 We started the day with a traditional local breakfast, and afterwards we had Vietnamese coffee ☕️ After breakfast, we did a “Hoi An Discovery Quiz” 🧐 The goal was to navigate the city in teams and find answers at temples, local businesses, and public landmarks — it was super fun! 🗺️ After the quiz, we had an amazing lunch with a curated selection of traditional Vietnamese dishes 🍜 We also got to learn how to make traditional cakes for the Lunar New Year and finished the day with the welcome party, where we enjoyed good food and sang karaoke 🎤
